True To Its Name

Everything about these inks is a worthy experience. The colour of the ink is a dry dark blue; think of the plumage of a raven. Hence, it is quite true to its name. Too dark to be blue, sometimes. And the sheen is not noticeable, at least to me (would be great if I could make it appear on paper; it is the reason why I grabbed this bottle!), and I use a flex nib that floods quite well. But I suspect that it has more to do with the paper. The feeling I get when I write with this is that I am using the ink of the night sky --- it is pristine and intoxicating when you think about it...

Endless Alchemy Raven Blue

A very saturated blue black and it is so appropriately named.

Too dark to be blue

I might as well be writing with black ink, you can't see the blue unless you are writing with a really dry pen. I don't see a copper sheen in normal writing. It's not bad ink, it writes quite nice, it's just really really dark. The darkest blue ink I have ever written with.

Testimonials

I’m quite impressed with the Endless Recorder notebook. I appreciate the extra touches, such as the Table of Contents and the page numbers. I prefer its white 68gsm Tomoe paper over cream, especially for ink swabbing.

Given the slimmer profile and general absence of bulk, these notebooks would also make excellent travel journals. Since the pages are numbered, this notebook could also easily be converted into a bullet journal.
